Company History
IntelliSensing was founded in 2004 with the mission of providing advanced measurement solutions for applications in several key industries. During the start-up phase, we made substantial investments in our new design and manufacturing facility located in Orchard Park, New York.
In 2005 we completed the development of our first product, the PS1 wireless pressure sensor, and have begun shipping sensors to customers world-wide that have been patiently waiting for availability. Applications ranging from oil exploration to quality control in manufacturing are now starting to include our sensors.
Accelerated product development has been the focus for 2006 and IntelliSensing introduced several new products such as:
- PressureSensorTwo™ Wireless Pressure Sensor
The PS2 wireless pressure sensor integrating a Cholesteric LCD display, Weco 1502 fitting, and a high power ZigBee wireless interface. The self-contained PS2 sensor is powered by four standard C-size alkaline batteries for safety in oilfield applications. - TemperatureSensorOne™ Wireless Temperature Sensor
The TS1 wireless temperature sensor has the same general footprint of the PS1, but replaces the pressure inlet with a stainless steel probe that extends from the sensor fitting into the measurement zone of the application. - SignalConditionerOne™ Wireless Signal Conditioner
The SC1 wireless signal conditioner has the same general footprint of the PS1, but replaces the pressure port with a circular electrical connector that is connected to the customer's existing sensor. The SC1 provides an economical path to a wireless sensor infrastructure while preserving the investment in existing sensors.
In late 2006, the IntelliSensing Sensor Store went live and is now accepting online orders for sensor products, accessories and replacement parts.
In early 2007, we introduced the next generation BaseStationOne™ NG Wireless Sensor Network Gateway. As an essential part of our strategy to offer vertical integration services for wireless sensor network deployments, the BaseStationOne™ NG ties the unique capabilities of a wireless sensor networks to existing systems that have interface or control requirements that go beyond what a simple gateway can handle.
Also in early 2007, IntelliSensing WSN Integration Services became available to help customers not having the time or resources needed to specify, install, configure and test an IntelliSensing wireless sensor network (WSN).
In October 2007, IntelliSensing was proud to announce it became part of the Greatbatch family within its Commercial division. This exciting endeavor expands our offering of products, and advances our strategic plan to offer more comprehensive technology solutions into the market.
