Company Overview
IntelliSensing is a young technology company that stems from a solid footing in the aerospace market. With a strong background in sensing instrumentation design, embedded development and information technology, we combine the trusted methods of physical measurement with advanced wireless technology to produce sensors that interface directly with control and measurement systems, using no external power or wiring.
Our mission is to design, manufacture and support wireless sensor products that enable advanced applications in demanding markets. Our slogan, The Network is the Sensor, highlights our commitment to provide a system solution not only incorporating sensors, but also the infrastructure responsible for transporting the measurement data to the destination.
With an increase in the global demand for quality at a reduced cost, a world of ubiquitous sensors is imminent. The integration of wireless intelligence inside the sensor increases the accuracy of the measurement while simultaneously lowering the cost of the system. By reducing cabling and eliminating individual channels of data acquisition, the density of the measurement array becomes less constrained by cost and more driven by the desire for a comprehensive data set.
IntelliSensing not only produces the sensor, but provides the means to transport the measurement data to the destination. This is accomplished through the careful selection and implementation of key layers of the Open System Interconnection (OSI) networking model, and the development and support of XML-based Web services.

Design and Manufacturing Facility
Our new design and manufacturing facility located in Orchard Park, New York was opened in early 2005. We currently occupy 13,000 square feet and have the ability to expand an additional 15,000 square feet in the future. Our location in the Quaker Centre Industrial Park is consistent with our goal of building a rational workspace and making intelligent decisions. The Quaker Centre Industrial Park is home of several high technology companies in the medical and aerospace industries.
You can find a map and directions to our facility here. We encourage visits from existing and potential customers.

Engineering Assets
Right from the inception of IntelliSensing, we knew that the only way to design the most advanced sensors available, was to have the best and most advanced tools at our disposal. We perform all electrical and mechanical design functions in-house using many sophisticated software applications such as SolidWorks, COSMOSWorks, COSMOSFloWorks, Pro/Engineer and Altium Designer. Our ERP system, M1 by Bowen & Groves, provides the control over day-to-day activities so that we remain organized and on schedule.
We are committed to maintaining an aggressive pace of innovation, development, and learning in engineering and science. Our engineering lab provides an environment where research and development can be conducted without distraction.

Assembly and Test Assets
The assembly and testing of calibrated sensors requires a substantial investment in both infrastructure and equipment. We are dedicated to the idea that the right answer exists and it is important to do things the best way. We strive to maintain that philosophy when assembling and testing the products that our customers rely on. Our facility is fully protected by static dissipative flooring, static dissipative workbenches, and protective wrist straps with active status monitors.
Our test and assembly department includes equipment from Agilent, Hakko, Hart Scientific, 3M and Condec. Calibration is maintained on all standards by outside calibration laboratories. Four separate rooms contain 3M air scrubbers that deliver the clean laminar flows required for specialized processes.

Engineered Components Division (ECD)
Having a solid design is critical and being able to manufacture the product is essential. The need to control the quality and scheduled availability of the machined components used in our sensors, made developing our own machining division a necessity. ECD includes the latest CNC equipment from HAAS complimented with tried-and-true manual precision from Hardinge and Bridgeport. A full compliment of precision measurement tools and equipment from Gage Master, Brown & Sharp and Mitutoyo can be found in our inspection room.
Our ECD staff includes some of the most skilled machinists in the area. We enhance our capability by having respect for the individual and caring about investing in each other's growth. That is why we offer both on-site and off-site training for apprentice machinists that join our company.

Company Philosophy
We conduct ourselves with the appreciation for integrity and honesty as individuals, and as a company. We make every effort to earn lasting credibility with others, which we believe is essential to long-term personal and business relationships.
Our values include:
- Do what you say and say what you do.
- Be responsive by returning phone calls, e-mail, and other requests for action in a timely way.
- Communicate status openly, and in a timely manner.
- Act with integrity and honesty.
